Widows of Defence Personnel.. 4 yrs relaxation
SSCW(Non Tech) .. 19 to 29 yrs.Born not earlier than 02 Jul 84 and not later than 01Jul 94
SSCW(Tech).......21 to 31 yrs.Born not earlier than 02 OCt 82 and not later than 01 Oct 93
Note: A candidate can apply for one entry/discipline of above course.
Change of Entry/Qualification choice will not be entertained.

Edn Qualification.
For Engineers (Men and Women)
Candidates Studying in the final yr of Engg Degree and who are qualified Graduates of the degree course of Engg are eligible.The candidates in final y must produce the degree certificate before commencement of the training in OTA.
Nationality:
Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan/Tibet but of Indian Domicile
A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan ,Myanmar,Sri Lanka, and East African Countries with intention to permanently settle down in India as per the Govt rules
Physical Standard
Ht and Wt.
Men Ht :157.5 cm with correlated Weight
Women Ht : 152 cm and Wt 42 Kgs
5 cm relaxation in Ht for the candidates of Hilly terrain and North East
2 cm relaxation for the candidates of Lakshadweep.
Visual Standards:
Minimum Visual Acuity: Distant Vision corrected 6/6. Worse 6/18,Myopia not more than Minus3.5
Candidates with sign of Karatotomy,Lasik Surgery not acceptable.
Method of Selection
Application is shortlisted,Cutoff Percentage is decided by Army Headquarters
Selection procedure at Service Selection Board (SSB) at Bhopal/Allahabad/Banglore.
Merit List is prepared
Successful candidates undergo Medical Checkup
Call for joining OTA is sent to finally selected candidates.
